Masahiro Sakurai''s new YouTube channel has already received a Silver Play Button to commemorate the feat.
Sakurai, known for producing Kirby and Super Smash Bros., launched Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games last month with the aim of providing information to others about the game development.
Sakurai shared a photo on Twitter of the Silver Play Button that he has given to YouTube.
"That was so nice," Sakurai stated in his tweet alongside the caption. In a response, he praised everyone who subscribed to the channel.

YouTube distributes the Silver Play Button to channels that reach the milestone of 100,000 subscribers. Sakurai may well be on his way to the Gold award soon, as Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games currently has over 800,000 subscribers.
Sakurai has been given the go-ahead from Nintendo to share the Smash Bros.''s dev designs and design specifications, which many Smash enthusiasts are unconcerned to see.
