After launching on the SEGAGenesis, Gargoyles is being remastered 27 years later

Gargoyles will be given a master degree over ten years after it was first released on the SEGA Genesis at The Disney and Marvel Games Showcase.

Gargoyles, which was first relaunched in 1995, is a video game adaptation of the same name, but both the series and the game were never popular at the time, though it is still a game that expresses a sense of nostalgia for many people.

It''s a classic platformer through and through, which looks great as is still, so it''ll be interesting to see exactly what Empty Clip does with the remaster. As of today, only we know is to expect new visuals and controls.

Empty Clip isn''t an ordinary game for retro remasters, especially since it spawned the 1990s in Dead Island 2: Retro Revenge, Streets of Kamurocho, and Hoshi. So, here''s to hope that the updated controls and graphics for the Gargoyles remaster are up to scratch!

Disney declined to disclose further information when it comes to getting the remaster. We can only suppose that this means there will be a short time to wait before anyone can actually get their hands on the remaster of the 2D side-scroller.

In the meantime, The Disney and Marvel Games Showcase has revealed Disney Illusion Island, a brand-new co-op platformer that will be available on the Nintendo Switch! And as if that wasn''t enough, Midnight Suns now has a release date.
