Its a two-pack in the US
The Steve and Alex amiibo are now available in the United States after a long overseas pre-order period. They were released on September 9 and are now available in several stores across the country. As of now, they are also available on the official My Nintendo Store (again, as a two-pack).
Despite the fact that the figures themselves are true to the series, they are less detailed (by design) than some of the more substantial figures that have been recently released: like the carefully-crafted line.

So whats next for amiibo in 2022 and beyond?
The amiibo trio have been confirmed for the holiday of this year, with three figures in place:
- Octoling (Blue)
- Inkling (Yellow)
- Smallfry
Sephiroth is next up for the wave, followed by Pyra/Mythra, then Kazuya, then (presumably) Sora. Once Sora appears to have reached, the line will be completely complete, ending a journey that began in November 2014.
As long as announcements and release date, it will take a while for that to happen: at least until 2023. If you need a list to bookmark, we have kept an eye on it since everything started!
