Nintendo will be going hard on this sequel
This OLED mockup (via vragal on Reddit) sounds super probable as something Nintendo may release in 2023.
The box, which is now considered a faux special edition, does not include the game, but features a fan-made white OLED Switch dock (presumably with the LAN cable functionality), as well as two special Joy-Con themes with a gold and green color scheme.
Switch mockups are among the most sought-after things to think about, mostly because so many of them might actually become reality. Any given first-party franchise might see a special edition release, all the way up to a hardware upgrade. Unfortunately, since they were out of the 3DS, they were not going to get too many of those crazy projects.
Remember when the 3DS was always alive and well, and when Nintendo came out with some sort of new model many times a year? Fun times. It all dates back to the original Game Boy, but I miss having a dedicated handheld in the mix all the same.
