They all float down here
City Connection, a retro-loving company, has announced that it will produce a new remake of an obscure arcade release. It is currently in development for Nintendo Switch and will be played during this weeks Tokyo Game Show festivities.
NMK''s first model was developed in 1987, and now available to Japanese arcades. Seeing a flock of cute anime characters navigate a desert filled with hazards and dangers, en route to a fight with Demon King. Despite their own gameplay, the players must have the skill to steer their chosen hero around the various traps and obstacles they have encountered.
On a whim, the odd little adventure would not be seen outside its native Japan, but has gained a huge fan base in modern times. CRT Games will include enhanced visuals, a new widescreen option, co-op two-player action, and a fully rescored soundtrack.
The Nintendo Switch is currently in development. Given that it will be available at the Tokyo Game Show later this week, one might presume that an announcement of its release date should be relatively forthcoming.
