Today, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners finally gets its futuristic motorbike on Netflix

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, an anime series, is streaming on Netflix from today, more than two years after the big tudum and Cyberpunk 2077 developers announced they were working together. The show may have hit whatever the 21st century equivalent of airwaves is, and became a tangible media to consume now, but CD Projekt has confirmed in a earnings call that they are still fully committed to continuing with the Cyberpunk IP.

Edgerunners is a ten-episode thriller about David, a spooked coworker who escapes a tragedy to become one of the titular techno-mercenaries. He meets up with a ragtag band of nogoodniks to survive in Night City, the same location inhabited by Cyberpunk 2077s V and their partners. Some of them even make cameos. If you know Trigger and their cyber-broom, here''s what you need.

CD Projekt, which owns a Black Friday game, announced a Cyberpunk 2077 free update with an Edgerunners theme in the last week. The company, which has been released, gave a preview of the first, and only, Keanu-starring expansion, according to IGN. That''s despite only developing one of the game''s single major expansions.

"We have put a lot of effort and effort into developing this franchise," Nowakowski said. "Not just the video game format, but the whole process will evolve in new ways."

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is now available on Netflix. I know, because I cheekily checked on my phone. It starts in Japanese with subs, so you do not have to change anything.
