The fourth season of HBO Max''s is coming to an end this November, so the news on what we can expect is coming to an end. First, showrunner Greg Walker announced that star (and fan)Titus Welliver would play Lex Luthor (more on that in the comments) and we have some new and confirmed intel on the upcoming season, thanks to the upcoming panel & show floor activation set for next month''s New York Comic Con.
The Titans will be taking on Brother Blood (Joseph Morgan) in Metropolis on their way back to the United States on Sunday, October 9th. This video of the season, which revealed what fans were speculating about, has been released. But it''s also possible that the streaming series will also include a show floor activation based on S.T.A.R. Labs, which is listed as having "a major role in season four of DC and HBO Max''s ''Tit
Walker offered to EW some insight on what they can expect fromWelliver''s Lex Luthor over the weekend. From how Welliver surprised Walker with Walker''s reaction to Walker''s pitch and why Lex is a different threat to our heroes to which Titan will be facing a "super" serious identity crise, here''s a look at some highlights:
Walker Didn''t Have to Sell "giant fan" Welliver on the Role: "You usually have to do this whole dog-and-pony show, but when I called to kind of lure him in, I couldn''t get a word out. We were talking on the phone, and he was walking through his library, explaining his ''Titans'' titles. He was a huge fan and had watched every episode of the show, and told me about certain stories and shots. It was the most unexpected
"He has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power," says Lex Luthor. I think he is kind of personable. He loves to know more about people and what makes them tick, and how they differ from him. He loves to learn about both his own power and his own inadequacy.
Conner (Joshua Orpin) will be forced to face that specter of Who He Is: "We''re really going deeper in all these characters and shaking them up." What shakes Conner up is a history. He''s not really explored his Superman self, but his Lex self. What does it mean when you give him the keys to the vehicle? Is it time to go wrong at rush hour [at] 100 miles an hour?
