Giulietta Romero, the Bandage-Masked Hitwoman, was introduced to Dynamite Entertainment in December.
You can''t keep a bad woman down, and none are better than Giulietta Romero, the professional assassin who was introduced in the recent Jennifer Blood series. Now writer Fred Van Lente is taking his shambling bandage-mask hitwoman antagonist into her own story inspired by William "The Bard." Jennifer Blood Presents: Giulietta Romeo: Hitwoman is a pulse-pounding special starring the breakout character that celebrities have been clamoring to see.
Robert Carey, a well-known illustrator for his work on James Bond, and other titles, will direct Van Lente on the special spotlight. A trio of show-stopping covers by Lesley "Leirix" Li, Drew Moss, and Valentina Pinti will complete the package for this winter release, bringing fans to the grip of blistering action and noir intrigue!
Giulietta Romeo, an Italian assassin, stars in La Tempesta, a darkened reimagining of the William Shakespeare play The Tempest. When her plane is shot down over a remote Atlantic island, a former Nazi kingship, and his brother was being extradited on the same plane, and Giulietta finds herself in the face of a gloomy blood battle and fighting against Prospero''s monstrous employees, Caliban and Ariel.
"I''m just the vessel that''s bringing The Tempest to life," said Van Lente, who was "adamantly talented writer of 2022." While not available for a new comment, Shakespeare has been quoted to say that the story, "Hell is empty and all the devils are here."
