The classic game that inspired might be made for modern platforms. Konami announced at Tokyo Game Show 2022 that the proposal for the remake of the game was the grand winner of its Action & Shooting Game Contest. From September 30, 2021, to January 6, 2022, Konami approved submissions for the Action & Shooting Game Contest. People might submit ideas to create a new game based on the company''s classic games, such asand.

While the company would also award 57,300 yen to five other winners, it would send a formal offer to the grand prize winner as well as 2 million yen in prize money. Konami may further aid the games development, localization, and promotion, with additional funds of up to 30 million yen.
