Beginning on Wednesday, October 12, limited engagement screenings will be held in US theaters. Iconic Events Releasing has announced that tickets are on sale now for nationwide screenings of in partnership with Anime Expo, the nation''s premiere anime fan convention, and anime distributor Eleven Arts for the latest installment of its AX Cinema Nights.

The Kyoto Animation film, directed by Naoko Yamada and written by Reiko Yoshida, is based on the best-selling manga series by Yoshitoki Oima, which has already been adapted for television. It tells the poignant and dangerous story of Shoya Ishida, a school bully, and Shoko Nishimiya, a young girl with a hearing impairment.
