After discovering a few clues, Silent Witness fans are concerned about Jack Hodgson's health

Following a number of headache complaints, the season is coming to an end, but there are still many more instances to keep an eye on.

Jack and Dr. Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) are returning for season 25, and we''ve also welcomed pathologist Sam Ryan (Amanda Burton) back for the first time since 2004. So it''s a whole house and lots on the way, so some viewers didn''t expect Jack to be panicking.

After Sam Ryan''s departure from the Heath Secretary, Nikki is unsure if she can trust her, but there are already clashes between the two.

Jack seemed to be hurt by a headache at the beginning of the episode, which might seem like a minor ailment, but some fans on Twitter are concerned that this could lead to a bigger health issue.

Jack has been on our screens since season 16, making him a major member of the Silent Witness universe, which has led fans to fear that something might happen to him to add even more drama to the beloved BBC series.

Fans have now wondered if subtle references to Jack''s migraines might indicate "something more serious" or is it simply a red herring?

I must admit I''m a little concerned about our Jack''s "Headaches" and I hope it''s not going to be something more serious.....#SilentWitness pic.twitter.com/AhYAHaQi64May 23, 2022

In episode 1, Jack and Nikki reconnected after sharing a kiss in season 24, where they seemed to pick up where they''d left off. Together they spent the night in the hotel bar, drinking and listening to music.

As Nikki walked up the corridor, they slid in the end, revealing that they would not leave until the time they decided to leave.

"It feels like a million years ago now but... what happened in the taxi. After the flood. I was concerned that... Did I overstep the mark? Only because, I kissed you, then you had to go."

Jack felt the same way as she did, implying that it was "always bad timing" before deciding to follow Nikki into her hotel room where they spent the night together.

Is Jack''s troubles causing problems down the line, with the couple''s problems? It''s time to wait and see... on BBC1 on Tuesday, May 24, at 9 pm. Previous episodes are available on-demand via BBC iPlayer.
