FBI season 5 plot

One of only a handful of shows that returns to television with a completely new season without having ever aired a previous season finale. Fans of the series will recall that CBS''s ability effectively slowed the season 4 finale this past spring.

The finale, which was set to showcase a student involvement in a deadly robbery, was scrapped the day it was to premiere, but hours later, there was a deadly shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Months later, the episode hasn''t been released, and viewers are starting a brand new season.

The last episode of season 4 that featured "Kayla," said that the team was investigating the murder of a DEA agent, while Special Agents Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Turner) and Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) argued over the best law enforcement methods on a particular case.

Future events should include more thought-provoking cases that will be of interest to people who are interested in the crime drama genre. Moreover, after Special Agent Bell (Missy Peregrym) was forced to take some time off last season to recover from her injuries sustained due to her exposure to sarin gas, viewers should expect her to be back in the mix at some point this season.

Peregrym will be happy to know that she will return to the series during the fall season.

Zeeko Zaki, who plays Omar Adom "OA" Zidan in Maggies'' role alongside Peregrym, is actor. Zaki previously played Matt in the show.

Jeremy Sisto (, ), Alana De La Garza (,, ), John Boyd (, ) and Katherine Renee Turner are among the cast members of season 5.
