Fortnite''s new season is getting underway, with a fresh cinematic that finally unmasks Brie Larson as a key character.
Larson has been speaking about Paradigm, one of the game''s heroes. She appeared as Paradigm in Fortnite''s Chapter 3 Season 2 live event, where she taught players how to take control of the game''s famous bear mech.
Larson has sounded up since the start of Chapter 3, posing audio logs and mission chatter for Fortnite''s weekly tasks. Now, with Season 4, we''ve seen her with her helmet off for the first time.
Developer Epic Games has kept Larson''s involvement to itself as compared to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the voice of fellow Seven members The Foundation, but prefers to speculate.
Fans were convinced that Larson was behind the character''s voice lines from the start, but they backed it up with the fact that Larson herself is a huge Fortnite fan, who previously worked with Epic Games for an in-game bundle featuring her favorite skin, the adorable tree man Bushranger.
This new season, known as "Paradise," sees Fortnite''s ever-imperiled Island invaded by a chrome goo. Cover yourself in said substance and you may turn into a Splatoon-like blob. Alternatively, you may cover walls with the stuff and morph through.
