The early access version of Satisfactory''s update 6 is now available in the scifi craft ''em up.'' It includes several major changes to the game, including upgrading existing weapons, adding new locations to enhance exploration, and, apparently, a boombox, so you can blast music while you build. Below is a new trailer.
Nine new ammunition types for the Rebar Gun, Nobelisk Detonator, and Rifle are added to the ammunition, as well as rounds and cluster bombs. Each player will be able to pick up new equipment for their head, back, and body adn legs.
Coffee Stain first discussed update 6 earlier this year, and they said they''d transition to a phase in development where changes would take longer as they polished the game for 1.0. They also said they''ll be focused on first revamping exploration.
Update 6 does this in many ways, including the addition of the tropical Spire Coast to the list, as well as visualizing The Swamp and new dynamic clouds in the sky. Players can now unlock the map as a Tier 1 technoloigy, and it has been upgraded to include Map Markers instead of Beacons.
Other changes include changes to creature AI, research trees, and the aforementioned boomboxes. In the world, you may find cassette tapes or purchase them, then play them on your shoulder-mounted stero. The stereo is believed to be also a tool to "blow troublesome visitors away."
Satisfactory is one of the most superior of these factory-building efficiency sims, and update 6 appears to have delivered a significant breakthrough to 1.0. On Steam, you may also see these latest updates here.
