Skullgirls Valentine Redesign Will Remove Her Crosses

A fresh Valentine redesign is on the way, and this one will completely remove the cross design from the character. Hidden Variable has made the announcement, which is the latest evolution of her look. All cross instances on her outfit will be altered to shuriken, as a nod to some of her attacks. She will also be removed later in 2022. Ileum and Last Hopes crosses will also be removed.

The reason for the new Valentine remodel is attributed to two factors: one is that the first changes in her appearance was done swiftly. The other is that the series and her may be ready for unrevealed opportunities. (In some instances, images like crosses are removed from games for release in certain areas.) The changes will appear in game and art book sections and segments.

New art has been revealed for people to prepare for the future Valentine design and the mobile release. First, heres Future Club Lead Animator Mariel Cartwrights design. It highlights the fresh pink shade being used.
