Nathan Fillion is a firefly 20th Anniv thanks to Joss Whedon, his cast, and fans

Although it would initially last for a single season of 14 (often out of order) episodes on FOX in 2002, Joss Whedon''s would turn into one of the most popular sci-fi series in television history. With today being the 20th anniversary of the series'' premiere, Fillion has taken to social media to express his gratitude for Whedon, his castmates and supporters over the years.

"I''ve seen ''Firefly'' extensively throughout my life, answered a lot of questions about it, and yet, I''m still lacking the appropriate words to honor it. "To the fans-incredibly, without you, space becomes a home for us all, and there''s no place I''d rather be, "It''s been 20 years."

Nathan Fillion (@nathanfillion) replies to a question.

Fillion was on Michael Rosenbaum''s podcast when he covered a ton of ground, from his career in several familiar episodes and aspects of his personal life to where he sees himself post-Hollywood. On the following clip, Rosenbaum asked Fillion how it would feel about a comeback, but said, "How can you?" Fillion wrote in his book, "The Whedon article, and the reports surrounding it."

Fillion said, "That was not my experience with the man," Rosenbaum asked Fillion to describe Whedon he knew: "Funny, self-deprecating, "incredibly talented," and "maybe a little shocked" Fillion was cautious in making an announcement about whether or not the program would be successful.
