The Important 2-Word Update for Stranger Things 5 Writers: "Grid Complete"

We''re expecting a ton of news, previews, updates, and announcements on a tense set of shows to hit Netflix later this year & in 2023. However, we weren''t sure if Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer will be sitting this one out. Not because we don''t want to know more about the fifth & final season or any other new information about the planned spinoff. This is just because we weren''t sure if a lot of them could easily off this early into

Here''s a look at the completed, mapping-out-episode-by-episode grid for the fifth and final season. But unless you have a mediocre government-level imaging software, you''re not sure how you''re going to get past the blur:

Here''s a look back at the e-mail from the show''s writers from late last month, showing off the Season 5 episode grid, just begging to be filled with topics that will never see the light of day (unblurred) until after the series has concluded its run (probably). The Duffer Bros have revealed that they expected Season 4 to be eight [episodes], and that they would have a regular length. So, if you had interviewed us before four, that''s what I''ve said. Obviously, we have to wait for eight more hours as long as Season 1 starts. However, I''m not expecting a decade or something," Matt said. "We''re aiming for more than 10 hours as the season begins.

When are they launching a project on the "different" spinoff?

"There''s a version of it developing in parallel [to season 5], but they would never shoot it parallel. I think even we''ll begin delving into that soon as we''re wrapping down and finishing these visual effects, and Matt and I are going to begin getting into it."

"Is this something I would want to make regardless of whether something is related to Stranger Things or not?" Matt Duffer says of "Is this something I''m so excited about it" even if we took the title "Stranger Things" off of it, I''m so, so excited about it. It''s not going to be different than what anyone is anticipating, including Netflix."

Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Natalia Dyer (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington, Erika Sinclair, Brett Gelman, and Dave Brenner, are stars on Netflix.

Jamie Campbell Bower (), Eduardo Franco () and Joseph Quinn () joined the cast of series regulars. Unlike previously used series regulars, Tom Wlaschiha (), Sherman Augustus (), Mason Dye (), Nikola Djuricko (), and Robert Englund () also joined the cast. In addition, Amybeth McNulty (), Myles Truitt (), Regina Ting Chen (), andGrace Van Dien () also joined the cast.
