Quaid revealed some suggestions on what fans might expect from the next / crossover with EW, including that Quaid''s Boimler & Newsome''s Mariner will be appearing in physical form, and Jonathan Frakes is directing the episode. In addition, Quaid revealed his bromance with Ethan Peck (Spock) and how he felt about wearing a Starfleet uniform. Quaid added a teaser about the third season of that includes some discussion.
Quaid and Ethan Peck: "Spoimler"? "It was fantastic. Ethan Peck and I have a bromance for the years. It''s amazing, but that whole cast is so friendly and welcoming and cool. We just had a ball, and we got to be directed by Jonathan Frakes. So what would be better?"
"One of my favorite characters I''ve ever seen is that he''s completely capable of wearing the uniform, but my God, it''s not breathable," Quaid said of the show. "I was able to go through the show and see how Boimler influenced him, and he was able to put a little bit of that into it."
