According to this teaser video from Niantic, Ultra Beasts will be released on Pokemon Go at some point in the future.
Nihilego, which was first introduced in Gen 7, is an Ultra Beast that resembles a jellyfish and is now one of the 11 most widely known Ultra Beasts in Pokemon history.
Ultra Beasts are a group of extra-dimensional Pokemon that are originating from space and appearing via Ultra Wormholes in Alola. They are rather combative and drawn to those who have also passed through an Ultra Wormhole, owing to residual energy.
Most Poke Balls have difficulty catching them, but Beast Balls are capable of being able to capture these creatures. The only downside is that you can''t use them to catch a Pokemon that isn''t an Ultra Beasts.
If that is the case, Beast Balls might appear to be coming to the game.
The teaser video also shows what appears to be a member of the Ultra Recon Squad. This group came to the Alola region from a world beyond an Ultra Wormhole. The group''s main aim is to investigate Ultra Wormholes and Ultra Beasts and restore "the light that was stolen from their home" by Psychic-type Legendary Pokemon Necrozma.
However, whats going to change in the game remains to be seen, but it''s possible - we''re just guessing there - that Ultra Beasts might play on the Pokemon Go Fest in June.
Because of this, Pokemon Go Fest 2022 sounds like it will be busy enough without adding Ultra Beasts to the mix that weekend. We may be wrong though, so don''t fret about your musings.
