The map for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 of its locations and landmarks has been revealed

The Fortnite map has been created in Chapter 3 and, now that we have reached Chapter 3, this map will include a wide range of known landmarks and locations.

The map will be taken a slate grey when you first begin playing Fortnite, but by looking at the chosen locations and landmarks, you''ll gradually restore it.

While finding the identified locations is relatively simple - thanks to the question marks - locating the buildings is a little more complicated.

What''s new on the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 map?

A number of changes to the map at Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 have been made, according to the beginning of the game.

On the Fortnite map, what exactly is known as locations and landmarks?

When a new named location is added to the Fortnite map, or one is dramatically altered, it will become greyed out, allowing you to quickly identify the new area. However, Fortnite newcomers will notice that their map is completely greyed out.

If you visit a designated location or landmark for the first time, you will receive a small amount of XP.

You need to go to the top of each of the listed locations and any major landmarks to see the map in all its genuine glory, whether it is on foot or off the plane.

We suggest first seeing the chosen areas, since it will allow you to narrow down any landmarks you need to see by the little grey spots left on the map.

Fortnite map named locations listed

A selection of new named locations may be observed throughout the Fortnite season at the beginning.

Five new names were added to the map in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4:

  • Cloudy Condos
  • Fort Jonesy
  • Heralds Sanctum
  • Lustrous Lagoon
  • Shimmering Shrine

In Chapter 3 Season 4, there are 11 new designated locations outside of these new locations.

  • Chonkers Speedway
  • Coney Crossroads
  • Greasy Grove
  • Logjam Junction
  • Rave Cave
  • Reality Tree
  • Rocky Reels
  • Shifty Shafts
  • Sleepy Sound
  • Synapse Station
  • Tilted Towers

Fortnite landmarks explained

Fortnite''s lands are located in smaller sections throughout the map, usually having either a small location or a notable object to explore. Occasionally they will be significant enough to justify having a small grey spot on the map for you to fill in.

By simply exploring the map, youll naturally encounter landmarks and, like with other known locations, you will earn some XP by discovering them.

This is because you can select landmarks from among them. If you want to complete the map, we recommend visiting all of the selected locations first. This will leave grey spots on the map wherever a notable landmark might sit, making locating them much easier!
