Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 1 million dailyplayers

So far this week, Cyberpunk 2077 has had one million players in-game every day.

CD Projekt Red has released the figure on Twitter, muling new and returning players for spending time playing the game.

This announcement comes after a steady increase in player count for Cyberpunk 2077. Previously, the number of games for Steam was on the rise, making it one of Steam''s finest single-player games.

According to SteamDB, the number of concurrent players climbed to 86,000 yesterday, more than double the 37,000 reported last week.

Each day of this week, 1 million people have visited Night City, both new and returning. This opportunity is a great way to express your gratitude for being with us and playing the game. Chooms! pic.twitter.com/zqggblztF8

The rise in players has been attributed to the recent Edgerunners update and Netflix anime of the same name, which is being well received by both critics and fans.

CD Projekt Red has a lot of work to do if it wants to match the number seen on Steam alone on release day.

The upcoming expansion Phantom Liberty, which will see Keanu Reeves reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand, will follow V''s story and may tyre more players to play.
