Summer Game Fest will be more deadly, less filler, according to Geoff Keighley

Is there a stream for a number of publishers? The answer is yes.

For this year, Geoff Keighleys Summer Game Fest will be held in 2022, and all of the scattered streams will try to casually show up around it. However, there may be less of the latter in 2022.

Keighley expresses his desire to host his Summer Game Fest event on Twitter Spaces. During this time he reveals cold hard facts that show exactly what this year''s festival might look like, and things seem to be beneficial in terms of making it even feel E3-esque in 2022. Point blank

There were a lot of conferences last year where everybody was dissatisfied when they weren''t really press conferences, right? I think people will be surprised if youre going to a press conference, and sometimes they only have one or two great games to display, which may not be enough to do it in the future. I think that will be a bit of a shift. I have a good understanding of what''s coming in the next month, and I feel confident in the game.

It''s a bold statement in a way indicating that Summer Game Fest is bigger than, say, a Square Enix conference, but hes absolutely right about people being discouraged in general by smaller exhibits; it''s a reaction even companies like EA aren''t immune to.

Despite this claim, we may still get a billion streams anyway. However, this has me optimistic that at the least, several publishers will transform into a bigger event, if only because they realized they may not be cut on their own in the present.
