Horror Fans Geek Out In Texas For Fantastic Fest Preview

Fantastic Fest takes over Austin, TX from today to September 29th at the Alamo Drafthouse, in the city. This is the first time in three years that the festival is being held in person. This evening, the horror film will feature a lot of madness, mayhem, and disbelief. Here are five of the films we are most looking forward to at the event.

Fantastic Fest 2022 Highlights

Timothee Chalamet and his director Luca Guadagninoin have reunited in a film that is described as a love story about cannibals.

It appears to be a well-done demonic possession film from director Oliver Park.

Jena Malone and Mark Patton portray drug mules who realize that the drugs they are carrying are effective. This sounds fairly bonkers, although this is the course at this festival.

The most recent feature in the popular found footage series, and has received a lot of positive feedback.

The filmmaker of Kevin Williamson''s new documentary chronicles a group of friends who decide to quarantine together and discover they are not alone. Always up for a slasher.

For anime, there has been speculation of going into it, as it involves unicorns taking on teddy bears in a dangerous manner.

Art The Clown is returning to the public eye once more.

A random series of events that connect to a woman named Elisa, who believes she has the same abilities as her favorite superhero, is based in Spain.

The festival starts with a couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) who travels to a coastal island to dine at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu with surprising surprises. It is the other big studio film at the festival.

There is so much more to the fest, including a pair of documentaries, about everyone''s favorite killer doll''s future, and a lot of, with regards to Stephen King''s film adaptations. It''s important to look for review reviews and more at the event next week, and if you live in the Austin area, check out some of the offerings.
