The cult Halloween film from the 1990s will finally be able to get the sequel it deserves. We''re just days away from the sequel, as it arrives on Disney Plus just in time for Halloween.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy will play the iconic Sanderson sisters in this Disney Plus exclusive sequel for the first time in May 2021.
On All Hallow''s Eve, these three wonderful sisters are about to spread wreak havoc on Salem, Massachusetts, and now it''s up to a new group of youngsters to try and complete their scheme all over again.

In plenty of time for the Halloween season, tickets will be available on Disney Plus on Friday, September 30, respectively.

It''s good to see that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are set to reprise their roles as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson.
Doug Jones () will play a role in Billy Butcherson''s return. Billy was Winifred''s ex-boyfriend who assisted Max, Dani, Allison, and Binx defeat the sisters the first time.
Entertainment Weekly shared a still from the movie, giving us the first look at Doug in costume for the new film, which is set on a beautiful backdrop.

Becca, Cassie, and Izzy will be played by Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, and others, a trio of high school students who incite the Sanderson sisters'' foes.
Hannah Waddingham (), Tony Hale (), Sam Richardson (), Juju Brener (), Froyan Gutierrez (), Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen are all cast members. Thora Birch isn''t reprising Dani Dennison from the original.
Who is directing Hocus Pocus 2?

Hocus Pocus 2 plot
The funeral for Max in Salem is set in present-day Salem, 29 years after Max inadvertently resurrected the Sanderson sisters by lighting the Black Flame Candle, and they''re in desperate need of revenge once more.
On Halloween, high schoolers Becca, Cassie, and Izzy are tasked with putting a stop to the ravenous witches'' plans.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Fletcher revealed that we''ll be learning more about the Sandersons'' origins in New England in the beginning sequence.
"The opening sequence of the film shows us a little appreciation for Billy''s aspects of it and how they lived in them, as well as what happened to the witches." She said, sporadically stating that the trio''s origin story coincides with the upcoming trio of teenagers.

In the full trailer, you can see the Sanderson sisters expelled from Salem 370 years later. From then on, it gives us a sense of the chaos they are going to experience in the sequel.
In June, Disney provided a teaser for the film. Becca and Izzy see lighting a Black Flame Candle and unleashing the Sanderson sisters for another night of chaos.
Winifred says, "Lock up your children, Salem, we''re back!" Sounds like our new heroes are in for a world of woes.
Is Hocus Pocus 2 on Netflix?
2 will not be available on Netflix. As it is a Disney Plus exclusive, you''ll only be able to stream the new sequel on Disney''s own stream service.
