The 17-year-old accused of pleading not guilty to computer abuse for stealing rockstar games and leaking footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 is being held in a youth detention facility.
"The 17-year-old who appeared at Highbury Corner Youth Court on Saturday September has pleaded guilty to breaching his bail conditions and not guilty to computer misuse," said Eurogamer, the detective inspector. "The teen has been remanded to a youth detention facility."
Police in Oxfordshire had previously confirmed that they had made an arrest in the area as part of an investigation conducted by the National Cyber Crime Unit. The suspect is thought to be connected to Lapsus$, a hacking group.
Rockstar claimed that they had been "extremely dissatisfied" by the leak of footage. It also claimed that it would have no "long-term effect" on Grand Theft Auto 6.
