The announcement from CN News/Schedules suggests that early planning on a second season of Shenmue was already underway due to the first season of the show.

HBO Max will allow Lazor Wulf and Tigtone to leave tomorrow night, implying that Black Lotus will also be interested.
Three anime are still on Crunchyroll (as they were co-productions), and they will reportedly be featured on digital stores.
