The current anime adaptation will begin on October 1st and 2022, and with the addition of a new opening sequence and theme song, Toho Animation released a clean (credit-less) version of the second opening animation on September 28.

The second opening feature the song Souvenir by Bump of Chicken. The previous opening song was Mixed Nuts by Official Hige Dandism. The new opening focuses on scenes of the Forger family''s lives at home, work, and play, as well as autumnal scenery. It also focuses on the appearance of characters that have not been introduced in the anime, such as the family dog and a silver-haired coworker of Loids. On Crunchyroll, the program will now stream on Netflix, Muse Asia, and Bilibili in other cities. The next cour (a block of episodes) will begin with and will likely include the Midterm Examinations and Campbelldon Tennis stories.
