The stars have teamed up to produce a Pokemon mega-fan and international music sensation, Ed Sheeran, on a new song, Celestial. His special song will be available in the highly-anticipated video games, beginning November 18, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch family of consoles. Fans can get an early listenand enjoy the music video for the song which launches today onEds official YouTube channel.
The Celestial video is inspired by Ed''s childhood fascination with the game and features some of his favorite Pokemon, such as Pikachu, Squirtle, Machamp, and Snorlax. The video, which features a unique sketch themed art direction from Yu Nagaba, is filled with surprises for visitors to discover and brings them back to a simpler time in their lifetime.
As I was in school, Ed. Me and my brother used to have different versions of the games, but they kept me distracted if there was anything they wanted to avoid. It was a wonderful experience to play Pokemon and to have a nostalgic video. I hope you enjoy the song and video!
