The Masked Dancer UK 2022 judges
The judging panel has been confirmed, with judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, and former pro Oti Mabuse all taking their seats once more in the upcoming season.
While Mo Gilligan will be replaced by football legend Peter Crouch on the judging panel, Mo is unavailable to appear on this year''s show due to tour commitments.
Peter said: The show is a popular activity in our household and when asked I jumped at the chance to take part. I am competitive and I''m currently on the verge of continuing to investigate friends'' socials while looking for such clever dance moves.
My social media, family, and friends will not be constantly speculating that Im hiding behind one of the masks by being on the panel!
Don''t worry, Mo will not be able to make a surprise appearance during the show, along with some other very special guests.
Mo revealed: I love being a part of the Masked Team so im ok to miss most of the series this year as I will be working in the United States. BUT Ive got the perfect sub to take my place. A legend on and off the pitch and one of the nicest guys in the business, Crouchy knows a thing or two about fancy footwork, weve got this!
Oti was confirmed to be returning as a judge back in February, with Derek McLean reporting: Yes, she will be reinstated. She has the same level of dance ability, and her critical eye is so good for dancing. It''s a no-brainer that she will be returning.
In the semi-final, Oti managed to successfully guess professional dancer Craig Revel Horwood and model Kelly Brook, with the other judges guessing completely wrong.
The first season saw guest judges such as John Bishop, David Walliams, and Holly Willoughby.
