Season 3 filming has begun, and we can''t wait to return to a world of sweeping ballgowns and frightening court gossip!
Season 2 of this year''s highly-anticipated series was a huge success, and audiences were taken on an emotional rollercoaster as the love triangle between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and the Sharma sisters, Kate (Simone Ashley), played out.
As Lady Whistledown wraps under, Penelope Featherington as her best friend Eloise Bridgerton continues her quest to discover the truth.
Amazingly, eason 2 proved even more popular than the first season, and the third season will be hopeful to accomplish it!
In season 3, who will be the talk of the ton and which new cast members will be joining the show? Here''s all we know so far...
Bridgerton season 3 release date
Season 3 of Bridgerton is expected to come out in 2023, which is always a good sign. It''s possible that the spin-off will arrive, albeit when the filming for season 3 only began in June 2022.
Season 1 and the second season were only a fifteen-month gap, so maybe we could see season 3 come to Netflix accounts in autumn 2023? After a clear date, we''ll be sure to disclose it...
Bridgerton season 3 plot
Chris Van Dusen was a fan of Julia Quinn''s novels for the first two seasons. This made us believe that the third season would be based on the third book (opens in a new tab) which focused on Benedict''s love story.
When Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington on Instagram, revealed on Instagram that season 3 would focus on Penelope and Colin Bridgerton''s love story.
This isn''t a huge surprise given how the Penelope and Colin story stowed away throughout series two.

If our next help of comes along, we may instead look forward to seeing the book 4 story (opens in a new tab).
In July of 2022, Netflix released a complete synopsis of Season 3 of Bridgerton...
Ben Benson''s supporters should not be concerned, as Chris Van Dusen has stated that we''ll be hearing more about him in future seasons...
"I love Benedict," he said, adding that "I love his story and all these siblings, for various reasons. "I think it was really the appeal to me in a project like this, the fact that we could tell these close-ended love stories and shift focus season after season." "This season, obviously we are together with Anthony Bridgerton. It will go on and on, as well as as as the one before."
Bridgerton season 3 cast
Rege-Jean Page was the star of the first season, but didn''t appear in the second, so fans are worried that Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, who played Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma, might have the same fate!
Simone confirmed that the pair would be returning for the next season, stating that she had written out: "We''re going to be back!" In season 2, Kate and Anthony were both out on track, but they encountered each other before they found each other.
"I''d like to see Kate do something more in season 3 and play more in that bond of love. I believe they both deserve it," she said.
According to Charithra Chandran, the last of Kate''s sister Edwina appears to be on the rise.
"For Edwina, I''d say she''s not a Bridgerton." At the end of the day, the show is about the Bridgerton family. Edwina, as we like to say, exists in the Bridger-verse, but I''ve been so happy to be, to have such a great role this season. And I''m just grateful for it."
As Francesca Bridgerton prepares to play against Morven Christie, we''re also going to see a new Bridgerton brother next time.
While Edwina and a new version of Francesca are, it appears that our other cast members will play their roles again.
Bridgerton season 3 new cast members
In Bridgerton Season 3, there will be a few new faces appearing on the ton, and in July, Netflix has confirmed who will be playing these new characters...
Daniel Francis plays Marcus Anderson, a charismatic person who clears up every room he enters, attracting the attention of certain matriarchs in the ton, and the anger of others.
Daniel has starred alongside James Nesbitt and Richard Armitage in the Netflix thriller Amazon Prime''s fantasy epic and the BBC''s black history anthology series.
Sam Phillips is playing Lord Debling, a glitzy lord with unusual interests. This season, he will have no shortage of interest from young ladies.
Sam Phillips has appeared in a slew of British dramas, including and yet is most famous for his role in Kay Mellor''s lottery series. He also played an equerry in Netflix''s royal saga.
Harry Dankworth is played by James Phoon. He lacks in wit and intelligence, but he more than makes up for with slick smiles.
James Phoon, a well-known theatre actor, is expected to appear in BBC Three comedy horror series in the coming months. He also appeared in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on the West End.
