Will Mellor, a 2022 contestant, has shared his unique strategy that might help him win the coveted Glitterball Championship.
As 2022''s largest 20th series kicks off, the star made his dancing debut on Saturday (September 24).
After topping the leaderboard alongside wildlife photographer Hamza Yassin, he has quickly become a fan-favourite to win.
After impressing on the dancefloor, Will gave away his secret plan to help secure his success.
"Ive been known to flirt a bit with judges on my side, so I might flirt a bit with Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood," he said of Talking to the Radio Times (opens in a new tab).
When asked about what to watch, Will said that he felt about being judged on his dance moves, but also said that he could utilize his flirting skills to win over judges.
"I''m not willing to say that." He admitted to the judges that "that''s what they''re doing for." If they say this, they will go, and they''ll go, "Oh, I''ll try not to do that next week." A bit of flirting works well with judges. Me and Craig Revel Horwood will have a little flirt-off!"
In the mid-1990s, Will became a household name when he played Jambo Bolton in Then he continued to star as Gaz Wilkinson in, DC Spike Tanner inand, most recently, drog dealer Harvey Gaskell in.
Despite being reluctant to perform reality shows, the television sensation also told us that his father''s death was a reason why he signed up to compete in the country''s favourite dancing competition.
"I''ve always been afraid to do any reality shows. I was always too worried about whether doing something could affect my career in a negative way," Will said. I''ve learned to save myself and stop being afraid of what might happen. I must do things that frighten you a bit, go out of your comfort zone, and make new memories."
