When is the next FBI season 5 episode?

Season 5 premiered on Tuesday, September 20, with a premiere night on the show ahead of and ending.

The next episode of Season 5 will air on Tuesday, September 27, at 8 pm ET/PT. Here''s a sneak peek at the ending of the episode titled "Love Is Blind"

FBI season 5 plot

One of only a handful of shows that returns to television with a brand new season without having ever aired a previous season finale. Fans of the series will recall that CBS''s capabilities effectively ended the season four finale this spring.

The episode, which was supposed to showcase a student involvement in a deadly robbery, was canceled the day it was to premiere, but hours earlier there was a deadly shooting in Uvalde, Texas. However, the timeline, which was later published, had not been revealed, and viewers are now in a completely new season.

In the last episode of Season 4, titled "Kayla," the team was examining the murder of a DEA agent, while Special Agents Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Turner) and Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) clashed over the best law enforcement tactics in a particular case.

Going forward, we anticipate more thought-provoking cases that fuel a rollercoaster journey for those who love the crime drama genre. Lastly, following a week of last season''s special agent Bell (Missy Peregrym) was forced to take some time off to recover from her injuries sustained from the exposure to sarin gas, viewers should expect her to be back in the mix at some point this season.

FBI season 5 cast

Missy Peregrym (, ) is the actress leading the way as special agent Maggie Bell, who cut her season 4 short as she went on maternity leave.

Peregrym will be stepping down during the fall season, and fans will be amazed by her performances.

Zeeko Zaki, who plays Omar Adom as Special Agent, is staring alongside Peregrym as Maggies partner. Zaki previously played Matt in the show.

Jeremy Sisto (, ), Alana De La Garza (, ), John Boyd (, ) and Katherine Renee Turner are among the cast members for season 5 of.

Shantel VanSanten, a season 4 latecomer, is expected to return to the FBI fold.
