Jeff Probst has played CBS for 22 years and 42 seasons. At this point, his name has become synonymous with the series. It appears that he''s come back for season 43''s duties.
As only one person has been granted the prize, spectators may anticipate new challenges, new bonds formed, and new manipulative schemes.
The contestants this season have been shipped off to the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, which is divided into 20 islands. This is where the show has been filming since season 33. "I hope we stay here forever," Probst said, noting that it has everything they need, including the beautiful water, beaches, jungle, and wildlife.
Season 43 is today''s news.

What is the Survivor premise?
The castaways are divided into tribes, (probably) form alliances, and compete in physically challenging and mind-bending rewards and immunity challenges while living in a remote location with minimal food access. The goal? To outwit, outplay, and outlast every other player to win the $1 million.
For this particular season, the focus is on the society they create. If youve seen a previous season, you''ll know that adapting to your surroundings is crucial.
"What we''re going to look at this season is how that society that they form directly impacts the game they''re playing, because you must figure out what they are, what is the norm, what are the rules, and why they''re forming the rules," Probst said.

Who is the Survivor host?
Would it be true if Jeff Probst was not the host of his 43rd season? He''s the only show the show has ever known for over two decades. The 60-year-old has been nominated for 10 Emmys (opens in a new tab) and has won four of them for Outstanding Host for A Reality-Competition Program.
Probst quit the hit television program in 2009, but he was burnt out. After taking time to recharge and making changes to the production team, he returned.
"My Achilles heel for a lot of my life was that nobody saw me as a storyteller, that they saw me as a white guy with dark hair who was only a game show host," he told (opens in a new tab). "And that in terms of my own self-image was the thing that could ease me. It was like a kidney punch."
How to watch Survivor season 43
Season 43 will air all of its new episodes on CBS, which as one of the country''s four major TV networks, makes it readily available if you have a traditional pay-TV cable subscription or a good old-fashioned TV antenna. Moreover, live streaming services like FuboTV, Hulu, and Paramount Plus, provide for subscribers to watch their local CBS station via the streaming service.
If you don''t get access to season 43''s latest episodes live, Paramount Plus is also the on-demand streaming home for the reality show, which is available to all subscribers the day after.
Paramount Plus is now available in the United Kingdom, so that''ll be the location to look out for UK viewers to watch them.
