The most recent of Julia Donaldsons books to be brought to life is centered on a star-crossed romance that takes place between the children of two warring tribes. Though the plot may seem somewhat familiar, it may feel fearless as it has absolutely been given the Julia Donaldson touch and includes a terrifying space adventure across the galaxy. With Adjoa Andoh, Meera Syal, and Bill Bailey lending their voices to the characters it looks to be a sure-fire hit.
I think the main themes of the film are that we should just accept differences in others. I think the difference I get from it is that the older generation tend to be more resistant to change. And sometimes it takes the younger generation to break that divide, according to Bill Bailey, who demonstrates his Grandfather''s role.

The sis is set on a remote planet and follows Janet (voiced by Ashna Rabheru) and a young Smed (Daniel Ezra) who become friends. When the two families realise their friendship will never be accepted, they fly away in the Smeds red rocket. They travel across the globe Grimbletosh, covered in grime and Glurch, and encounter all sorts of weird and wonderful characters along the way. But will Janet and Bill meet again?
