Apple''s Pro 2 Charging Case Will Be Designed Using a Lightning Port instead of a USB-C

Ming-Chi Kuo, a prominent Apple analyst, claims in a series of tweets that the second-generation AirPods Pro will feature a charging case that is connected to a Lightning port instead of a USB-C. He also reiterated that the newly-designed AirPods Pro 2 will launch in the second half of this year. As mentioned earlier, Apple is working to bring USB-C to the iPhone and its many accessories, including the AirPods, the MagSafe Battery pack, and other gadgets

Apple will stick with a Lightning port this year, according to Kuo. "I anticipate that the AirPods Pro 2 charging case will still support Lightning rather than USB-C," he adds. Even the $550 AirPods Max comes with a Lightning connector for charging purposes.

The redesigned AirPods Pro 2 is expected to come without the stem, promoting an all-ear design. Other than that, Apple will include enhanced battery life and charging capabilities. This is especially true for those who are not sure whether or not the design will be similar to the Beats Fit Pro. To be fair, the design will be similar to the Beats Fit Pro. Apple will also include improved audio quality, as well.

You may agree that Apple will introduce USB-C later this year, but please leave your thoughts blank.
