Studio Wildrose and Wild Bunch Production have shared some information on the setting for Armed Fantasia and Penny Blood on Kickstarter. They also reminded participants and investors that this is the last effort before the Kickstarter closes on September 30, 2022.
Non-native organisms called Anomalies roam the land and causing damage to the natural ecosystem. They are also dangerous, but the Order and Pathfinders must destroy them. Some examples of Anomalies are the Xibalba, Pandagruel, and Vouivreguivre.
There is a group called the Iconocluster, who seeks to free Londenium from the Order, which they perceive as evil. Setsuna Carpediem, Arcain Wharen, Knight Gungnir, and Kimquis Mycalmel are some of their members. It is unclear if they will be fighting alongside Ingram and his friends, or against them.
In the field test video for Armed Fantasia, it demonstrates how you explore the map. It appears that you can switch who your avatar is on the fly. This is perhaps to make it simpler to shuffle through Gadgets.

Roger Bacon will make a comeback in Penny Blood, but in Penny Blood, we will see him as a handsome young friar who just finished studying at the University of Oxford. Armed Fantasia has reached an additional $1,145,000 goal. In total, you will be able to get nine ARM types and roles in combat. Penny Blood has also reached an additional Pedometer stretch goal. This will allow players to earn rewards based on how many steps they take in dungeons.
Kenji Ito (SaGa) and Yasunori Shiono (Lufia) will collaborate on the Penny Blood soundtrack. They are joining Yoshitaka Hirota (Shadow Hearts), Akari Kaida (Breath of Fire 3) and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) to compose music.
Armed Fantasia and Penny Blood are in development for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Penny Blood will be released in Spring 2025.
