Bungie, IO Interactive, and Ubisoft are working to bring the Stadia game saves to PC

Many users are concerned about game transfers as Stadia shuts down in January. Fortunately, many developers are working together to transfer the game to a PC.

Three of these companies are Bungie, IO Interactive, and Ubisoft.

According to Ubisoft, it is currently working on Stadia users having the ability to transfer their games to PC through Ubisoft Connect. The timeline for the option wasn''t specified, but the company said specific details will come at a later date.

IO Interactive, a hitman development company, has on Twitter to assure players that it''s looking for ways for players to continue their Hitman experience on other platforms (thanks, IGN).

Bungie, one of Stadia''s early adopters, is engaging in discussions on its players'' next steps.

In January, Google declared on Thursday, September 29, that its Stadia game streaming service was closed.

The reason for removing the plug was attributed to a lack of "traction with users."

If there is a silver lining, it''s that Stadia players will be refunded all hardware purchases made through the Google Store. This includes the Stadia Controller, Stadia Founders Edition, Stadia Premiere Edition, or Play and Watch with the Google TV Package.

The refund will be extended to all game and add-on content purchases made through the Stadia store. The majority of refunds will be made by mid-January.

All players will continue to have access to their games library until January 18, 2023.
