The World Cup 2022 is coming to an end, with the quadrennial football tournament starting in late November. It''s going to Qatar, after being in Russia in 2018.

As part of the first round of Group B fixtures, England is playing Iran and Wales on the first day.

32 teams will compete in eight groups in the following weeks to reach the knock-out stages, culminating with the final on Sunday 18 December.

All of the US'' group stage fixtures will be starting at 2 pm.

Every World Cup match will be available on terrestrial television in the United Kingdom, but then adhere to Ofcom''s regulations (opens in a new tab) that ensure they must be available on free-to-air television in the United Kingdom.

The fixtures are shared by the BBC and ITV, and viewers may also watch games on BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub. Details of which fixtures will be aired on the tournament''s channel.

The US will likely need to defeat Iran in their final match if they want to have a chance of progressing.

Brazil, France, and England are among the bookies to win the tournament, with Spain, Germany, and Argentina all positioned to do well.
