FBI season 5 plot

One of only a handful of shows that returns to television with a brand new season without having ever had a previous season finale. Fans of the series will remember that the powers that are at CBS weakened the season four finale this spring.

The sequel, which aimed to depict a school involvement in a deadly robbery, was scrapped the day it was to premiere, but hours later, a deadly shooting in Uvalde, Texas, was reported. Months later, the episode has still not been reported, and viewers are in a brand new season.

In the last episode of Season 4 that was aired titled "Kayla," the team was investigating the murder of a DEA agent, while Special Agents Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Turner) and Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) clashed over the best law enforcement tactics on a particular case.

More thought-provoking instances are expected to be successful for those who are passionate about the crime drama genre. Moreover, after Special Agent Bell (Missy Peregrym) was forced to take some time off last season to recover from her injuries sustained by the exposure to sarin gas, viewers should expect her to be back in the mix at some point this season.
