This is the third and final of our three specials which will air in 2022, and will see Jodie take her last trip in time and space before leaving the role behindwith Chris Chibnall, the showrunner who Russell T. Davies is replacing for ''''s 60th anniversary special and seasons beyond.
The Doctor, Dan, Yaz, Kate Stewart, and a couple of others joining forces to take on Sacha Dhawan''s incarnation of the Master, the Daleks the Cybermen all at once. It''s clear that the BBC isn''t ready to allow Jodie to leave without one last big battle!

When will the Doctor Who Centenary Special be available on TV?
The BBC has announced when its next broadcast will be on TV! The final feature will be available on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, October 23 at 7.30 pm, and will last for 90 minutes. This means it''s coming just days after the BBC''s centenary on Tuesday, October 18.
The special, which is expected to launch on BBC America on the same day, though the BBC hasn''t confirmed official airtimes for the US broadcast just yet.
Is There a trailer for The Power of the Doctor?
On October 8, we were treated to an explosive new trailer which gave us a few more information. There''s fascinating new lines from The Master, explosions, chase scenes, and tense stand-offs with the big three villains of the piece.

The Daleks, Cybermen, and the Master will be seen in this video, with the latter welcoming the Doctor to "the conclusion of your existence." In this text, a previoustrailer recalled that Time, when the Doc was released, stipulated: "Beware of the forces that mass against you - and their Master."
Who''''s starring in The Power of the Doctor?
Sacha Dhawan is returning to work as The Master, and Jodie''s Doc will need all of the assistance she can get. This time, she''s got a few key partners on her side.
Both Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Dan (John Bishop) are sticking around the TARDIS, and Vinder (Jacob Anderson) and Kate Stewart will join her in the story, who last appeared to assist her during the story.
The highlight of the special was the fact that former partners Ace (Sophie Aldred) and Tegan Jovanka (Janet Fielding) would return to the Whoniverse.
Will the 14th Doctor be in the power of the doctor?
Promo material for the upcoming episode has shown that we''ll be seeing a revival scene, although we still don''t know if she''ll actually see her transform into the 14th Doctor, according to Ncuti Gatwa.
Jodie was referring to Empire (opens in a new tab) about her regeneration journey, but said she enjoyed the thought that it would be the emotional departure we''ve come to expect. She said: "When I saw the crew was happy with that last shot, that''s when my bottom lip started going. I was like, ''Well, they can''t say they need another take now because I''ve lost it!"
What''''s the plot?
The official plot summary for the Thirteenth Doctor notifies much about what''s going to happen in the final special, but it promises that whatever happens, it will be an "epic blockbuster special". It reads: "After surviving many disastrous adventures dealing with some of the most feared monsters throughout space and time, it''s the final installment for the Thirteenth Doctor.
"This epic blockbuster episode will see the Doctor fight evil across the galaxy one last time, but just who will she come up against in her final battle before the Doctor regenerates once more."
The Daleks, the Master, and the Cybermen, who will be facing the Doctor on many fronts. However, Chris Chibnall has promised (opens in a new tab)that this last story will be a "fittingly thrilling, epic, and emotional send-off for the Thirteenth Doctor."
The Beeb responded with a letter requesting clarification on the episode. "Who is approaching a speeding bullet train on the edges of a distant galaxy?" "Why is a Dalek trying to contact the Doctor? "What influence does the mesmeric Rasputin have over Tsar Nicholas in 1916 Russia?"
