I guess other dragon writers are kicking themselves for not using the title. Sarah Mensingahas sold her new graphic novel to Abrams for six figures. This is a graphic novel about a girl who desires to own a dragon, but instead helps an elderly dragon reconnect with his lost human and discovers her unique calling along the way.

Sarah shared her "New deal" on Twitter, "This is happening!" Mark posted "I''m beyond pleased" and honestly, kind of in a state of sadness. Kindred Serpents will be a graphic novel starring dragons, adventurous girls, and Prince Edward Island. I hope your readers will love it. Mark Gottlieb signed a six-figure deal with @TridentMedia #GraphicNovel.

Sarah Mensinga, a comic book designer originally from Canada, has worked in Penguin Books, Sourcebooks, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster Publishing, and Zynga Games for several years. Television shows: Undergrads, Flying Rhino Junior High and Watership Down.

The publication of Abrams is planned for late 2025. Sarah Mensinga''s agent Mark Gottlieb of Trident Media Group negotiated the agreement for world rights.
