Monday Night Football: Broncos vs Chargers

Monday Night Football was in a loop for over 50 years, but with the 2022 NFL season and a fresh duo of commentators standing in the stands to call the games.

What to Watch has you covered with how to watch all of the primetime NFL offerings for the 2022 season, including Thursday Night Football and Sunday Night Football, but read on here to get all you need to know right now about Monday Night Football, including the complete schedule and more.

How to watch Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football is now available to US viewers primarily on ESPN, sometimes on ABC and ESPN2, so here''s all you need to know about it each week.

ESPN is a cable channel that requires viewers to be subscribed to a traditional pay-TV or live TV streaming service (FuboTV, Hulu with live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV), although it may not be available on all packages. In addition to being able to watch Monday Night Football on your television or connected device, viewers may subscribe to the ESPN app or ESPN.com.

ABC is meanwhile available through pay-TV and live TV streaming services, but as one of the four major networks also has local stations in each US TV market that can be received via a TV antenna.

This year, Monday Night Football will be available on ESPN Plus.

Monday Night Football is also an option to stream live. It requires you to be a subscriber, and the live stream is only available on mobile devices.

Sky Sports is the UK''s new home for NFL football, which is broadcasting live to Sky TV subscribers. The games are also available for free on My5.

If the standard 1 am UK start time is too late for you, then NFL Game Pass (opens in new tab) is an option. This international version of this subscription service offers live broadcasts of games as well as the possibility to watch the entire broadcast on-demand or a condensed version of the broadcast that only includes the plays.

Broncos against Chargers in Monday Night Football preview

Monday Night Football features a divisional matchup for the second week in a row, as the Denver Broncos travel to Los Angeles to face their rival Chargers.

The Denver Broncos have had the most success this season, although they haven''t had the best results so far, given the fact that they are 1-2 in the previous three primetime games. This year, the Denver offense is averaging a league-worst 15 points per game in five games, with Wilson only throwing four touchdowns; they have only scored 20 points once this season.

Things have improved defensively, as they''re proving to be a top five unit in total yards allowed per game and passing yards allowed per game (they''ve been a bit more susceptible to the run). This matchup may be able to bring a stout defensive game.

Both teams have won 30 points or more in two weeks, resulting in a top five offensive team in the game. This is because Justin Herbert is considering putting up great numbers 10 touchdowns to just two interceptions.

The Chargers'' defense, which ranks in the bottom half of the league defensively, has been less successful in achieving the quarterback, owing to the fact that star pass-rusher Joey Bosa is currently in critical condition.

The Chargers are set to be 4.5 point favorites against the spread of the game.
