Update: Our list of top executives has improved more than ever before, with fresh statistics and a few new picks. Who are you following on?
FIFA 23 has so many fantastic strikers and wingers that it is difficult to fit them all into your starting eleven. However, when you have a whole squad to work with in Career Mode, you shouldn''t have a lack of depth up-front.
Many common teams at the forefront of European football only have one striker, so they must have everything: enough speed to get in behind, enough physicality to keep the ball moving, and a shady touch to tie up play, and a deadly eye for goal to finish off attacks.
There are quite a few people out there who match this bill perfectly. Not all will break the bank, with players capable of covering all kinds of budgets and playstyles.
When it comes to Wingers, there are a few strategies you can take when building your team. Do you want to go deeper into the more traditional interpretation with wide-men that typically swing crosses into the box? Or do you want to take inspiration from Jurgen Klopps Liverpool and make the wingers the focal point of your attack as inside forwards?
To get things started, you must select all of FIFA 23''s best strikers as assessed by the highest overall ratings in the game. While many of them will be familiar names, they''re still the most dangerous forwards around.
Then, to introduce you to some interesting players you might not have heard of, you may well list some lower overall strikers and wingers with great potential. Not all of them will be available immediately, but you will surely be faced with them in the finals as your save goes on. FIFA 23 Wonderkids has a whole page.
Finally, well run through the best strikers and wingers to complete the FIFA 23 Career Mode based on our extensive research (that means playing FIFA too much). They are the most incredible and most overpowered players you can add to your squad, so don''t panic if they finish up making things too easy!
We also have pages on FIFA 23, the best CAMs, CMs, and CDMs, the best defensive coordinators in FIFA 23 and the best goalkeepers in FIFA 23.
Which strikers will compete in FIFA 23 Career?
- Beto - Udinese - 24 - 21m Value / 18,00 Wage - 79 OVR/ 82 POT
Overpowered statistics aren''t limited to players with a ludicrous scope for growth - with dynamic potential you can make your own.
Beto is a fantastic, real signing for a variety of teams in the top divisions, as well as 90 sprint speed and strength as as mid-80s finishing. Did we mention he''s 6 foot 4?
With excellent positioning and excellent dribbling, you might do a lot worse than having Beto lead your attack.
- Victor Osimhen - Napoli - 23 - 50m Value / 62,000 Wage - 83 OVR/ 89 POT
Thanks to his excellent all-round performance on a deceptively low overall rating, this is a fantastic experience. We''re talking 90+ pace, 85 strength, nearly 90 finishing, and 80 dribbling right from the start of your save.
Osimhen becomes an absolute demon in the air, which is an underrated asset from corners and crosses.
He was very ludicrous with injuries in real life, but this might be a breakout season that may huggle his rating.
- Nicolo Zaniolo - Roma - 22 - 45.6m Value / 61,000 Wage - 81 OVR/ 88 POT
The heir-apparent to Totti, the Rome queen, has always been linked with moves away from the Stadio Olimpico, but despite a string of serious injuries, Nicolo Zaniolo still appears to be a fantastic player.
Zaniolo has an advantage over playing up front or deeper. In a high-pressing system, he has a good 90 pace, strength in the mid-20s, as well as excellent passing. He also has decent tackling to help defend from the crowd.
- Youssoufa Moukoko - Borussia Dortmund - 17 - 4m Value / 5,000 Wage - 71 OVR/ 89 POT
Youssoufa Moukoko, the Bundesliga''s youngest goalscorer, is still 17 years old, and he has recovered the net just hours after being allowed to play for senior football.
With a great pace and a very quick dribbling and finishing already, he is the archetypal unrealistic Road to Glory signing and a real gem in FIFA 23.
- Brian Brobbey - Ajax - 20 - 14.2m Value / 11,000 Wage - 76 OVR/ 85 POT
After a bizarre situation where he decided to leave Ajax to join RB Leipzig on a free transfer, Brian Brobbey was then loaned back to Ajax and permanently rebuilt for around 20 million euros a year later, he has become a must-buy for any team with a budget to sign him.
With more than 80 chances, he can have an unreal deal: 90 strength, jump, and nearly 80 finishing. He''s certain to fly up in terms of rating with any amount of regular game time.
- Noah Okafor - RB Salzburg - 22 - 10.8m Value / 22,000 Wage - 75 OVR/ 83 POT
Noah Okafor has an electric speed, mammoth strength, and excellent dribbling and finishing.
With their mid-70s speed and mid-80s strength, his mid-70s technicals will catch up and hell will be unplayable.
- Datro Fofana - Molde - 19 - 2m Value / 1,000 Wage - 66 OVR/ 83 POT
Because to Datro Fofana, cash-strapped clubs have access to physically overpowered players.
The rest of the day, you know what to expect: 90 pace and 82 strength are the highlights, but nearly 70 dribbling and mid-60s finishing aren''t bad for a 66-rated striker.
In FIFA 23, he has the potential to bring 83 people to the party.
- Goncalo Ramos - Benfica - 21 - 12m Value / 10,000 Wage - 75 OVR/ 85 POT
Goncalo Ramos, who played all of his key roles in the mid-70s, is on the verge of becoming quite special. No wonder he''s constantly linked to Newcastle, Leeds, and Manchester United.
With consistent game time, it will take very long for those 70s to turn to 80s or even more. He''s also a solid 6 feet tall, so his high jumping makes him a pleasure to watch as well as a keen player who can keep up playing.
- Daryl Dike - West Brom - 22 - 3.6m Value / 18,000 Wage - 71 OVR/ 82 POT
Crosses and long balls appear to be a lot more effective in FIFA 23, therefore a straight up target man is a lot more fun to use.
With 96 abilities, there are only a few better target men around than Daryl BigDike - even if he washes his clothes with dishwasher tablets (look it up on TikTok).
- Jonathan Burkardt - Mainz - 21 - 14.6m Value / 19,000 Wage - 76 OVR/ 84 POT
Jonathan Burkhardt is a classically-styled number 9 to check out if you want to employ the same old players that are just stupidly overpowered.
- Ramiro Enrique - Atletico Banfield - 21 - 3.4m Value / 6,000 Wage - 70 OVR/ 82 POT
Ramiro Enrique, the recipient of a major upgrade in FIFA 23, reminds me of Javier Chicharito Hernandez owing to his speed, strength, and 90 jumping, despite being on the shorter side.
- Georgios Koutsias - PAOK - 18 - 1.3m Value / 500 Wage - 64 OVR/ 81 POT
PAOK are in the rest of the World league, making sure you don''t have to worry about damaging their best prospects.
If youre increasing the leagues with a low-budget team, here''s what you should look out for.
- Benjamin Sesko - Salzburg - 19 - 4.7m Value / 11,000 Wage - 72 OVR/ 85 POT
Despite his age, this young man is well-known, mobile, and technically proficient. Manchester United is a strong player with excellent reason.
This year, crossing is a lot better, so feel free to lump balls up to the big guy.
In FIFA 23 Career Mode, who are the best wingers to sign?
- Antonio Nusa - Club Brugge - 17 - 2.8m Value / 2,000 Wage - 68 OVR/ 88 POT
I''m usually despise of using low-level players, but Antonio Nusa''s starting potential of +20 isn''t the problem.
While you focus on training him as quickly as possible, he has great pace, agility, and dribbling to make an impact late in games.
- Cody Gakpo - PSV - 23 - 44.7m Value / 25,000 Wage - 83 OVR/ 87 POT
One of Europe''s top five leagues is allegedly on a plane bound for Leeds until Dutch manager Louis van Gaal told him to depart if he wanted to go to the World Cup, according to Cody Gapko.
With strong finishing, he''s a great, but expensive signing.
- Noa Lang - Club Brugge - 23 - 24.1m Value / 23,000 Wage - 78 OVR/ 85 POT
All the excitement during the summer was centered around the capture of Charles De Ketelaere by AC Milan, but Noa Lang has long been linked with a host of top clubs.
Despite being a fast and an elite dribbler, he can play anywhere on the forward line. He also has an Outside Foot Shot feature that allows you to easily biff it in from the ground in FIFA 23.
- Octavian Popescu - Steaua Bucarest - 19 - 3.8m Value / 6,000 Wage - 71 OVR/ 84 POT
Popescu has the ability to play on either side of the flank, but has the requisite speed, stamina, and dribbling abilities, but with a fee that suits their budgets.
Despite a slight downgrade, most of his key findings remain untouched - just now he''s even cheaper.
- Martin Terrier - Stade Rennais - 25 - 29.2m Value / 52,000 Wage - 81 OVR/ 84 POT
Martin Terrier, an insider with impressive Premier League goals last season, scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 for Stade Rennais, which has 84 results to show for it.
It does not look like a fluke, but he''s sporting a good-than-one-in-one record this term.
He was tipped to join West Ham, Leicester, or Liverpool in the summer. Expensive, but he''s a proven sign for several top clubs.
- Christian Pulisic - Chelsea - 23 - 41.3m Value / 103,000 Wage - 82 OVR/ 88 POT
Despite his indiscretionable ability, Christian Pulisic has kind-of found himself outperforming on the pitch at Chelsea (at the start of the season at least) so it would not be out of the realms of possibility for a rich club to sit in and take him - Newcastle perhaps?
It''s not all bluster, however, he''s an energetic, elite dribbler with plenty of potential to bolster his end-product.
- Rayan Cherki - Lyon - 18 - 6m Value / 16,000 Wage - 73 OVR/ 88 POT
Rayan Cherki is a ball-difficult player with a five-star weakness, and is a great kid to play with.
- Noni Madueke - PSV - 20 - 19.8m Value / 14,000 Wage - 77 OVR/ 86 POT
In FIFA 23, he hit the game, but Noni Madueke remains an excellent signing for any team in Career Mode.
At such an early age, a 90-day swing and 85 dribbling make him a real guy to deal with.
- Gustav Isaksen - FC Midtjylland - 21 - 3.1m Value / 10,000 Wage - 70 OVR/ 78 POT
With Gustav Isaksen, you get a lot of experience, but he has amazing physical abilities and stamina as well as excellent dribbling, so he may not lose his confidence as you climb the leagues.
- Brennan Johnson - Nottingham Forest - 21 - 10.8m Value / 37,000 Wage - 75 OVR/ 85 POT
Brennan Johnson has been on the radar of top clubs throughout the Forests promotion season.
He may play through the middle, but he would take on the inside forward role perfectly.
- Marcus Edwards - Sporting - 23 - 18.9m Value / 13,000 Wage - 78 OVR/ 84 POT
Marcus Edwards has been slowly expanding as a player until FIFA 23 has ruled out his qualities.
It''s only a matter of time before the Premier League starts knocking.
- Ernest Poku - AZ Alkmaar - 18 - 1.1m Value / 1,000 Wage - 63 OVR/ 83 POT
Real low-cost, real fast, and plenty of potential. What more can i say?
- Jesper Karlsson - AZ Alkmaar - 23 - 18.1m Value / 11,000 Wage - 78 OVR/ 83 POT
This guy had previously not been heard of, but he''s very, very kind to use.
With almost everywhere in the mid80s, Jesper Karlsson has a great deal of skill.
