Update: Our list is now better than ever before, with new information and a few new picks. Who are you waiting for?
FIFA 23 has so many fantastic strikers and wingers that it is difficult to fit them all into your starting eleven. However, when you have a whole squad to work with in Career Mode, you should never have a lack of depth up-front.
Many common matches at the forefront of European football only have one striker, so they must have everything: enough speed to get in behind, enough strength to hold up the ball, a deft enough touch to tie up play, and a deadly eye for goal to finish off attacks.
More than a few individuals out there who match this bill are unlikely to break the bank, with players available to suit all kinds of budgets and playstyles.
When it comes to Wingers, there are a few guidelines you can take. Do you want to use the more traditional interpretation with wide-men that usually swing crosses into the box? Do you want to draw inspiration from Jurgen Klopps Liverpool and make the wingers the focal point of your attack as inside forwards?
To get things started, you should make a list of the top FIFA 23 strikers, as rated by the highest overall ratings in the game. Although many of them will be familiar names, they are still the most dangerous forwards around.
Then, to introduce you to some of the most well-known players you might not have heard of, you can list some lower overall strikers and wingers that have enormous potential. Not all of them will be available immediately, but you will certainly be faced with them in the finals as your save goes on. FIFA 23 Wonderkids has a whole page.
Finally, look through the best strikers and wingers to sign in FIFA 23 Career Mode based on our extensive research (that means playing FIFA too much). They are the most incredible, most overpowered players you can add to your squad, so don''t let them regret if things become too simple!
We also have pages on FIFA 23, the best CAMs, CMs, and CDMs, the best defenders in FIFA 23 and the best goalkeepers in FIFA 23.
Which strikers will join in FIFA 23 Career?
- Beto - Udinese - 24 - 21m Value / 18,00 Wage - 79 OVR/ 82 POT
Overpowered statistics aren''t limited to players with unquestionable space for growth, but with great potential you can make your own.
Beto is a fantastic, realistic signing for a number of companies in the top divisions, with over 90 sprint speed and strength, as well as mid-80s finishing. Did we mention him as 6 foot 4?
With good positioning and good dribbling, you might do a lot worse than having Beto lead your attack.
- Victor Osimhen - Napoli - 23 - 50m Value / 62,000 Wage - 83 OVR/ 89 POT
Thanks to his excellent all-round figures on a deceptively low overall rating, this is great: 90+ pace, 85 strength, nearly 90 finishing, and 80 dribbling right from the start.
Osimhen is an absolute demon in the air, which is an underrated asset from corners and crosses, while being over 6 feet tall.
He''s been extremely sick with injuries in real life, but this might be a breakout season that makes his rating even more impressive.
- Nicolo Zaniolo - Roma - 22 - 45.6m Value / 61,000 Wage - 81 OVR/ 88 POT
The heir-apparent to Totti, the Rome queen, has always been linked with moves away from the Stadio Olimpico, but despite a string of serious injuries, Nicolo Zaniolo still looks like a great player.
Zaniolo is capable of playing up front or down, bringing up play with around 90 pace, strength in the mid-80s, as well as good passing. He even has a solid tackling to help defend from the front in a high-pressing system.
- Youssoufa Moukoko - Borussia Dortmund - 17 - 4m Value / 5,000 Wage - 71 OVR/ 89 POT
Still 17, Youssoufa Moukoko holds the Bundesliga''s youngest goalcorer, scouring the net just hours after being even permitted to be in senior football.
With a remarkable pace and a lot of maneuverability already, he is the archetypal unrealistic Road to Glory signing and a real gem in FIFA 23.
- Brian Brobbey - Ajax - 20 - 14.2m Value / 11,000 Wage - 76 OVR/ 85 POT
After a terrible situation in which he decided to leave Ajax without making a free transfer, Brian Brobbey was loaned back to Ajax and made permanent for nearly 20 million euros less than a year later, he has become a must-buy for any team with a budget to sign him.
With more than 80 speed, 90 strength, and almost 80 finishing, he is sure to fly up in rating with any amount of regular game time.
- Noah Okafor - RB Salzburg - 22 - 10.8m Value / 22,000 Wage - 75 OVR/ 83 POT
Noah Okafor has a steady run, mammoth strength, and excellent dribbling and finishing.
With the mid-90s speed and mid-80s strength, his mid-70s techniques will catch up and hell be unplayable.
- Datro Fofana - Molde - 19 - 2m Value / 1,000 Wage - 66 OVR/ 83 POT
Datro Fofana has facilitated access to physically underpowered players in cash-strapped clubs.
You know what to anticipate by now: 90 pace and 82 strength are the highlights, but an average striker with 66 points is not bad.
In FIFA 23, he has the potential to add 83 players to the party.
- Goncalo Ramos - Benfica - 21 - 12m Value / 10,000 Wage - 75 OVR/ 85 POT
Goncalo Ramos is on the verge of becoming very special in the mid-70s, as it''s no surprise he''s constantly linked to Newcastle, Leeds, and Manchester United.
With consistent game time, it will not take much longer for those 70s to turn to the 80s or even more. He''s also a solid 6 feet tall, so his high jumping makes him a pleasure to fly around as well as a potential player.
- Daryl Dike - West Brom - 22 - 3.6m Value / 18,000 Wage - 71 OVR/ 82 POT
In FIFA 23, crosses and long balls appear to be more effective, thus having a straight-up target is a lot more fun to use.
With 96 strength, there are only a few better target men around than Daryl BigDike - even if he washes his clothes with dishwasher tablets (look it up on TikTok).
- Jonathan Burkardt - Mainz - 21 - 14.6m Value / 19,000 Wage - 76 OVR/ 84 POT
Jonathan Burkhardt is a classically-styled number 9 to check out if you want to use the same old players that are just stupidly overpowered.
- Ramiro Enrique - Atletico Banfield - 21 - 3.4m Value / 6,000 Wage - 70 OVR/ 82 POT
Ramiro Enrique, the recipient of a massive upgrade in FIFA 23, remindes me of Javier Chicharito Hernandez due to his speed, strength, and 90 jumping despite being on the shorter side.
- Georgios Koutsias - PAOK - 18 - 1.3m Value / 500 Wage - 64 OVR/ 81 POT
PAOK are in the rest of the World league, as well as low as chips, but with a speed to trouble any defence, so you don''t have to worry about losing their best prospects.
If youre growing the leagues with a low-budget team, here''s what you should look out for.
- Benjamin Sesko - Salzburg - 19 - 4.7m Value / 11,000 Wage - 72 OVR/ 85 POT
Despite his age, this young man is well-known, mobile and technically capable despite being enroised with Manchester United.
This year, crossing is considerably improved, so feel free to lump balls up to the big man.
In FIFA 23 Career Mode, who are the most capable wingers to sign?
- Antonio Nusa - Club Brugge - 17 - 2.8m Value / 2,000 Wage - 68 OVR/ 88 POT
I prefer using low-skilla players, but Antonio Nusa''s starting potential of +20 isn''t being ignored.
Despite his impressive 42 performance, he has great pace, speed, and dribbling to make an impact late in games while you concentrate on training him swiftly to improve his longevity as quickly as possible.
- Cody Gakpo - PSV - 23 - 44.7m Value / 25,000 Wage - 83 OVR/ 87 POT
One of Europe''s top five leagues is supposedly on a plane bound for Leeds until manager Louis van Gaal told him to get off if he wanted to go to the World Cup, according to Cody Gapko.
With a solid finish, he''s a great, but costly signing.
- Noa Lang - Club Brugge - 23 - 24.1m Value / 23,000 Wage - 78 OVR/ 85 POT
All of the buzz during the summer was about the capture of Charles De Ketelaere by AC Milan, but Noa Lang has long been linked with a number of leading clubs.
He is capable of playing anywhere across the front line, and he has the Outside Foot Shot approach that allows you to easily biff it in from distance in FIFA 23.
- Octavian Popescu - Steaua Bucarest - 19 - 3.8m Value / 6,000 Wage - 71 OVR/ 84 POT
Popescu is a real deal for the price. He can play on either wing and has the requisite speed, stamina, and dribbling abilities, but with a fee that suits most budgets.
Despite a slight downgrade, most of his key statistics remain untouched - just now he''s even cheaper.
- Martin Terrier - Stade Rennais - 25 - 29.2m Value / 52,000 Wage - 81 OVR/ 84 POT
Martin Terrier, an inside forward with excellent Premier League performances, scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 for Stade Rennais last season, and has 84 teams coming this term to show their support.
It doesn''t look like a fluke either. He''s sporting a better than his 1-in-2 record this term.
Many of his top clubs are looking to join West Ham, Leicester, or Liverpool in the summer.
- Christian Pulisic - Chelsea - 23 - 41.3m Value / 103,000 Wage - 82 OVR/ 88 POT
Despite his undisputed ability, Christian Pulisic has kind-of found himself out of place to work at Chelsea (at the start of the season at least), so it would be impossible for a wealthy club to sneak in and take him - Newcastle?
It''s not all bluster though, he''s an exorcise and elite dribbler with vast potential to boost his end-product.
- Rayan Cherki - Lyon - 18 - 6m Value / 16,000 Wage - 73 OVR/ 88 POT
Rayan Cherki is a ball player who excels in the 5-star pitch and has a lot of fun to play with.
- Noni Madueke - PSV - 20 - 19.8m Value / 14,000 Wage - 77 OVR/ 86 POT
He''s had a great time signing for FIFA 23, but Noni Madueke is still an excellent signing for any team in Career Mode.
At such a young age, his 90-day-stricken appearance and 85-dribbling make him a real-world player.
- Gustav Isaksen - FC Midtjylland - 21 - 3.1m Value / 10,000 Wage - 70 OVR/ 78 POT
Dynamic potential for Road to Glory teams is your friend with Gustav Isaksen. He is inexpensive to pick up, but with amazing physical abilities and strength as well as excellent dribbling, so chances are hell outgrow his natural rating as you ascend the leagues.
- Brennan Johnson - Nottingham Forest - 21 - 10.8m Value / 37,000 Wage - 75 OVR/ 85 POT
Brennan Johnson is seen on the radar of top clubs throughout the Forests promotion season.
He may play through the middle as well, but he would take on the inside forward role quite easily.
- Marcus Edwards - Sporting - 23 - 18.9m Value / 13,000 Wage - 78 OVR/ 84 POT
Marcus Edwards has continued to grow as a player until FIFA 23 has concluded that his attributes will not be ignored.
It''s only a matter of time before the Premier League comes to knocking.
- Ernest Poku - AZ Alkmaar - 18 - 1.1m Value / 1,000 Wage - 63 OVR/ 83 POT
Real cheap, real quick, lots of potential. What more can i say?
- Jesper Karlsson - AZ Alkmaar - 23 - 18.1m Value / 11,000 Wage - 78 OVR/ 83 POT
This guy was never introduced to me before, but he appears to be really, really motivating to do so.
With fast daily stats from the mid-1980s and 5-star skill moves, Jesper Karlsson is seen as a tricky, agile fan-favourite in the moment.
