After all, Alan Wake 2 will not be released this summer, according to Remedysay

Alan Wake 2 was declared at the death of last year, with the promise of a larger release in summer 2022. This week marks the 12th anniversary since the first game was released, and Remedy offered an update on the sequel. After all, there will be no update on the sequel.

"Everything with Alan Wake 2 development is going really well. We are deep in production, have a lot of material, and a great deal of the game is playable," says Remedy''s wordsman. "We have been talking for the past couple of months, and together with our wonderful publisher Epic Games, we will not be showing anything big this summer."

"To create a proper, polished demo or a trailer takes a lot of effort, and it will take several months of effort to take away from development. We believe that we have momentum going, and we want to ensure that we are developing the best, and first, survival horror game for Remedy. We were not going to discourage the team from doing that, therefore we were going to keep going and making a fantastic game experience. Alan Wake 2 will be a survival horror game, but it isn''t known about the first time the action was focused. This anniversary news blast did at least feature four pieces of concept art:

The delay in Alan Wake 2''s release wasn''t the only piece of information in the video. Lake also stated that AMC, the US network responsible for The Walking Dead, have purchased the rights to the Alan Wake TV series, which was first launched back in 2018, but it does not mean the television show is imminent, but it''s another small step forward.
