When the game you''re developing is a remake, there''s a possibility of less scrutiny to keep every detail secret. EA Motive are putting a lot of behind-the-scenes footage into the remake, and occasionally, posting some updates. In the beginning of March, they revealed the exact date for the game''s release: January 27th, 2023.

The original Dead Space was launched back in 2008 and was a tragic action horror game set aboard a spaceship overrun by many-limbed Necromorphs. You, as engineer Isaac Clarke, were luckily equipped with a laser cutting device with which to cut off those limbs. It was interesting and scary and well-scoped, and was difficult enough to jam microtransactions into that EA quickly led the series astray across its two sequels.
