Grab your boomstick, and Evil Dead: The Game is getting started

Saber Interactive have launched their cinematic co-op survival horror Evil Dead: The Game today, Friday the 13th. No one knows why they chose that date. Maybe it''s Bruce Campbell''s birthday.

In this Evil Dead film, you may play as Campbell''s legendary chainsaw-handed hero, Ash Williams, in both co-op and PvP multiplayer. There are also characters from the Evil Dead movies and the Ash Vs. Evil Dead TV show to choose from, as well as the possibility of hunting humans down as a demon. Method Man, a Wu-Tang Clan, has created a special ditty for Evil Dead: The Game and tested the original movies he has even sent out to Campbell

The game was first announced at The Game Awards in December 2020, but a delay had occurred last year. Saber Interactive said they wanted to take a bit longer time to get Evil Dead: The Game a shine before its release, as well as adding in a brief single-player campaign.

For the most part, Evil Dead: The Game is intended to be played as a multiplayer game in co-op or asymmetrically in its PvP mode. Fortunately, the game also has crossplay support, which allows gamers on PC to play with console pals, although it is likely to be an Epic Games Store exclusive at the moment.

If you prefer giving Evil Dead a pop, then the game will cost 32/38/$39. Klaatu barada necktie, anyone?
