Today is Aliens: Genocide #1 & Aliens Vs. Predator #0 CGC 9.8 Auction

Dark Horse was first given the license to and comic books, and with them publisher Mike Richardson moved the compass of the American comic book business westwards, before recently selling the company to the Chinese. Marvel Comics has now given both licenses for comics, and is now printing some of these classics stories as well as publishing new works.

Two of those Dark Horse Comics titles, with CGC 9.8 grades, are available for auction today at Heritage Art Auctions, which have received $73 at the time of writing. That means, going under the hammer later today, #1 and Aliens Vs. Predator #0 from over thirty years ago and still in a very good nick.

Genocide from November 1991 was written by Mike Richardson and John Arcudi, and inspired by Damon Willis and, according to Karl Story,. It reveals an Arthur Suydam cover, describing an attempted counter-expedition to theAliens'' home planet, involving a billionaire who sprayed with soldiers and scientists, for malicious reasons. It also explains how the Earth was able to recover, owing to a xenomorph.

The stories from Dark Horse Presents #34-36, reprinted by Randy Stradley, Chris Warner, and Phill Norwood, leading into a complete series in which humans set up a colony on a Predator hunting ground, who throw alien eggs onto the planet, infect native wildlife and provide them Aliens to hunt. It also prompted to the existence of this film as well.
