Today, Wargaming announced new features for its Longest Night of Museums initiative in which it will play a hand in. Each museum showcase article will help players gain insight into each museum''s naval history, as well as historical information and assets. Some of the content will be shared on the game''s YouTube channel.
The articles will feature hidden characters to encourage readers to read all of the stories and find the special bonus code. Those who complete the code will receive a five-day, all-expenses-paid trip to one of the naval museums featured last year. These include embedded video footage from the last year''s Longest Night of Museums event, which saw over 1.4 million people attend a virtual tour of the more than 15 naval museums across the world.
Museums have been struck with tremendous hardship as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic. Many people lack their own traditional photographic camera to share their exhibits and make their desired impact remotely on the globe. Therefore Wargaming, the world''s most historically accurate naval battle video game, has continued to support these museums and bring them in front of a wider audience. The events from last year highlighted the impact it has had on their organizations.
