During this event, you may encounter Lapras wearing a scarf, battle Tapu Fini in raids, and earn bonus items.
As the water festival for thePokemon GO begins, Lapras wear a scarf and Dewpider making waves as they progress in Pokemon GO. Plus, for the first time in Pokemon GO, you can encounter Shiny Binacle, if you''re lucky, and be on the lookout for the Legendary Pokemon Tapu Fini in raids.
The Water Festival brings a slew of bonuses. Rainy Lure Modules activated during the event will last for two hours, and youll get twice the Candy and a higher chance to get Candy XL from hatching eggs. A Water Festival Scarf avatar item is available in the in-game store.
Through Timed Research, you''ll earn 50 Gyarados Mega Energy, 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and encounters with Dewpider and Lapras wearing a scarf. There are also Field Research tasks, which will lead you to Blastoise Mega Energy and Gyarados Mega Energy.
TheSeason of Alolas fourth Special Research story is now available, so don''t forget to have a bit of tropical enjoyment during this water-logged event.
To complete the Global Challenge during the Water Festival, contact trainers around the world. Until Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 a.m. PDT, collect and chase an ocean full of Water-type Pokemon. A double Catch Candy bonus will be added to all participants for the remainder of the event.
